Are you being watched?
We live in a time where passion is king and you a mere slave
to its whims. Everything is about passion in this time. Even religion is about passion where people
fill people with opium of takfir. But are we aware that we are being watched
than more than video cameras?
The famous hadith of Jibril (upon him peace), he asks the
question, “What is ahsan?” Ahsan can be translated in a number of different
ways and excellence being just one meaning but what was the response? The Prophet
(may Allah bestow peace and blessings upon him) said, "To worship Allah as
if you see him, yet know you cannot see him but he can see you.” (Al-Bukhari
and Muslim).
“Fear Allah, and know that Allah has knowledge of
everything.”

visible, and He will tell you what you were doing.”

“Your Lord suffices as one who is aware of and sees the sins
of His servants.”
Isra 17:17
“Surely He is aware of and sees His servants.”
Isra 17:30.
“Why, surely to God belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and
the earth; He ever knows what state you are upon; and the day when they shall
be returned to Him, then He will tell them of what they did; and God knows
everything.”
Light 24:64

you; then you shall be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible,
and He will tell you that you have been doing.’

God is aware of the things you do.”
Al-Munafiqun 63:11

one of you a believer; and God sees the things you do.”
Al-Taghabun 64:2

from His way, and He knows very well those who are guided.”

"Do not take a small sin lightly; instead, think about
Who it is that you are disobeying: You are disobeying the Almighty Lord Who
[sometimes] punishes people for small sins, and [sometimes] pardons people for
great sins."
[Sufyān al-Thawrī (rahimahullâh)]
Wake up, we are being watched by angels, the awliya and of course Allah (the Exalted). There is a clear record for every sin we do, yet how heedless we are. May Allah (the Exalted) forgive us.
