Sheikh Yahya Rhodus

Hope, Fear and Repentance

A Muslim is always between hope and fear.

The masjid of Medina was a grave of Polytheists

This deens night is like its day, the way is clear.

Hearts take from each other without knowing so it is important to have good company

When Umar (May Allah Ta’ala be pleased with him) told the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) was more beloved to him than everything except his self that was between his two sides. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) informed how to complete his deen during this space Umar (May Allah Ta’ala be pleased with him) was being raised in rank. Until he say that the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) was more beloved to him than himself.

There was a man who used to follow Umar (May Allah Ta’ala be pleased with him) around, Umar asked him, “Did you make hijra to me?" The man started to think and thus began to pray. After a while Umar (May Allah Ta’ala be pleased with him) asked him "Where have you been?" He replied "I found worship is better than Umar."

The first thing a person should do it ask Allah Ta’ala for forgiveness, in any tribulation.

Allah Ta’ala may postpone, what a servant will get. When he hear the pure prayer of a servant.

Love is the essence of mercy

The prayer of Allah Ta’ala toward the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) is mercy.

The First step is to seek forgiveness and there is no final step

WE cannot worship Allah Ta’ala, as he deserves

Tawba - Repentance

In three/four steps

1. Stop doing the action

2. Remorse

3. Vow not to return to it

4. If it involved another person fur fill their right/s.
